Chaffee County saw sellers bring 84 new listings to the market in June, which is 13% fewer than last year, but 4% more than last month. A total of 38 homes were sold in June with a median closed price of $621,541, which is 7% lower than last year, but 12% higher than last month. The homes that sold took a median of 15 days to move from Active to Pending, which is 9 days higher than last year, but the exact same timeframe we saw in June of 2019. At the close of the month, there were 212 active listings of homes for sale, a 39% increase from last year at this time, and 24 weeks of inventory. The increased inventory is good news for buyers who will benefit from a wider variety of options as they search for their next home.
