June brought the fourth consecutive month we’ve seen an increase in closings in Chaffee County. Month over month the count of Closed Listings was up 15%. Year over year, the number of closed listings was up 39% At 59, the number of listings that moved to the Pending status was 37% higher than last month and 11% higher than June 2021.
MEDIAN CLOSED PRICES
The median closing price for a home in Chaffee county was up 18% from last year and 4.5% from last month, thanks to continued strong buyer demand. Closings of homes priced $700,000 and above more than doubled compared to June 2021.
NEW LISTINGS
June brought another increase in inventory as sellers brought 96 new listings to the market, 12% more year over year and an 18.5% increase
month over month. At the close of June there were 153 active listings available in the MLS, which is a 96% more than we saw last June and 15% more than last month. Weeks of inventory in Chaffee County came in at 12 at the end of the month.
