Home prices in Chaffee county hit a record high for the month of December with the Median Closed Price reaching $575,000, a 15% increase year over year, but an 8% decrease month over month.
Single-family homes closed for a median price of $595,000, 14% more year over year, but 11% less as compared to last month. Condo/Townhome/Multi-Family homes closed for a median price of $412,500, unchanged year over year and 7% less month over month. The Average Closed Price of a Chaffee County home was $644,179, an 8% increase year over year, but a 2% decrease month over month.
Chaffee County saw 40 homes close throughout the month of December, a 32% year-over-year decrease and a 20% decrease month over month. In December, 37 homes moved to the Pending status, 34% fewer year over year, but 16% more than last month.
Chaffee County had 36 new listings hit the market in December, 25% fewer year over year, but a 39% increase month over month.
