Chaffee County recently published an update to the county’s Short Term Rental (STR) rules and process. Below is the official resolution explaining the current regulations and process for owning and operating a Short Term Rental in Chaffee County. Properties in the municipalities of Buena Vista, Salida, and Poncha Springs have a different set of STR rules and regulations set forth by those towns’ respective town staff and elected leaders.
