The Chaffee County housing market saw an increase in new listings of homes for sale for the third consecutive month. Throughout the month, sellers brought 50 homes to the market, 25% more than last year and 11% more than last month. Buyer activity was down from last year but increased for the second consecutive month with contracts executed on 30 listings, which is 7% more than January. The listings that moved to pending sale did so in a median of 110 days, 25 days longer than last year. February Closings were down 23% compared to last year but saw a 33% increase from last month. The
median price of a home that closed in February was $562,500, 1% less than last February and 11% less than month.
